Ferney Voltaire in the Pays de Gex, Didier and "My Way", will be present during three days in the main
hall of the supermarket. Every morning between 10 and 12, and every afternoon from 15 to 19 hours, the
intrepid navigator will be there to autograph his book, but also to present his famous boat with which

- Saturday November 30 :

Publier. Didier was there as Mr. Cystic Fibrosis . Thousands of
people visit the area giving support and money in order to help in fighting
against this terrible disease. Visit of "My Way" was very appreciated. |

September 21 :
Didier was pedaling one mile on the lake Leman. A lot of people was
there to congratulate him.
Samedi
21 septembre Didier a fait sont retour officiel à Evian.
Après avoir parcouru à bord de son "My Way" le mile séparant
Le centre Nautique d'Evian à l'Esplanade du port de la Mouette
en moins de 20 mn, escorté par une flottille de bateaux de pêches, voiliers,
Kayaks, Didier, mettait pied à terre parmi une foule d'admirateurs,
enthousiastes et émus.
Parmi les personnalités présentes, le premier à féliciter Didier fut
Monsieur Marc Francina, Maire d'Evian, qui, après avoir
fièrement fait partie de l'escorte nautique, accueillait dans sa ville
natale avec chaleur et enthousiasme, celui que sans défaillir il a soutenu
durant les 7 ans et sept mois que Didier mit à réaliser son rêve..
Venait ensuite, Monsieur André Crépy, Conseiller Général de
la Haute-Savoie, également fervent supporter depuis le début de
l'Aventure, et qui a reçu avec une joie et une fierté non dissimulée,
" ce gars bien de chez nous ". Le dernier à intervenir, fut Monsieur
Jean-Claude Carle, sénateur de la Haute-Savoie, qui faisait
part à Didier de toute son admiration pour avoir sans jamais renoncer,
malgré les difficultés rencontrées, à mener à bien son projet.
Monsieur Gérard Carrier, remit ensuite avec émotion à Didier
son tee-shirt officiel de parrain de l'Association, " Vaincre la
Mucoviscidose ", en vue de la prochaine Virade de l'Espoir qui aura
lieu dimanche prochain 29 septembre à la Cité de l'Eau à Publier dès
9 h.
Cette journée pleine de joies et d'émotions s'est terminée à la nuit
tombée. |

: After having ridden about 500 miles from Grand Isle
to Memphis, Didier arrived in Graceland where Todd Morgan,
Director of media & Creative development in Graceleand/Elvis Presley
Enterprises, Inc., and Bobby Davis have decided to provide to Didier,
a complimentary room at "Heartbreak Hotel" for Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday night. "My Way" will be parked at the
hotel during the same time under special permission. |

to help him for his return to France. |

having crossed the Caribbean sea and the Gulf of Mexico, Didier is actually
in Grand Isle, Louisiana, in order to prepare his final trip to Memphis.
He was invited by the city of Evian-Les-Bains for "Coques
et Notes", a big event on the "lac Leman".
Because he his away, the Didier Bovard - Evian-Memphis's Association
will be present in Evian on Saturday the 20th, and Sunday the 21st,
at the "Esplanade du port". People will see photos, maps, videos, etc? |
